Otlobli — Shopping from Global Stores, Delivered to Syria

The product idea

An Arabic shopping platform that brings the experience of global stores closer to users in Syria by combining browsing, product selection, carts, checkout, payment, and shipment tracking.

The problem

Buying from global stores for delivery to Syria usually spans browsing, product details, currency conversion, payment, delivery, and tracking. Users need one Arabic experience that organizes these stages and makes the next step clear.

Intended users

Users in Syria who want to shop from supported global stores through a unified Arabic experience adapted to local payment and delivery needs.

The goal

Simplify the journey from choosing a store, product, size, and color through cart review, payment, recipient details, and order-status tracking.

User flow

The user chooses a supported store, browses inside the app, selects product options and quantity, adds items to that store’s cart, reviews pricing and shipping, completes recipient and payment details, and follows the order status.

SeenTK’s role

We designed and developed the Arabic app experience, integrated native iOS and Android capabilities with backend, authentication, payment, and notification services, and prepared testing and store-review workflows.

The solution

We built a cross-platform Arabic app that organizes every store in a separate cart, displays pricing in US dollars and Syrian pounds, and provides a clear checkout, local-payment, and delivery-tracking journey.

Key challenges

The work included stable in-app browsing, app lifecycle behavior on iPhone, performance across older and newer devices, and preventing unnecessary social-login pages from opening in Safari.

Technical implementation

The implementation uses React, TypeScript, Vite, and Capacitor, with WKWebView and Android WebView for embedded browsing and lifecycle behavior. Supabase powers data, authentication, and server functions, alongside WhatsApp OTP, Google sign-in, and ShamCash integration.

The current release was under Apple App Store and Google Play review at the latest verification and was not publicly available. We do not publish user, download, or rating figures before launch.

Status and what this project proves

This case study shows SeenTK’s ability to build a cross-platform Arabic commerce app, integrate browsing, authentication, payments, and orders, handle WebView lifecycle details, and prepare production builds for store review.
